Military Appreciation Month: Show Your Support and Thanks

National pride is stronger than ever with the start of National Military Appreciation Month beginning with President Obama's announcement of Osama bin Laden's take down by our country's elite team of Navy SEALs on May 1 (read coverage on HuffPost). Such news really makes you want to fly your American flag and walk up to every uniformed member of our armed forces and thank them for all they have and continue to do for us and our country. And, I encourage you to do so! Fly the flag, visit veterans, do what you can to celebrate. If that isn't enough, there are also other ways you can show your appreciation and patriotism. Take a look at some of our ideas that will have you showing your support. And, for a longer list of ways you can celebrate, check out the official National Military Appreciation Month website.
